I just wanted to take a minute and tell you all how beautiful your work has been.

You are  such a talented group of artists.

I hope things settle down so I can have more time to play soon.

The message above was the last one that Bev was ever to make to us here at the Cafe and it speaks volumes of the kind of person that she was....always made an effort to keep in touch, no matter how busy or sick she may be.  It goes without saying that the news of Bev's death has been a total shock to us all and that we will miss her very much.  Not only was she an exceptional member of Cafe PSP, but a dear friend to all of us here, always with a message of praise, encouragement and caring.  We will miss you very much dear friend and will remember you always....Rest in Peace!

It is always hard to find the right words to say in times like this, what to do to show that we care, to lend a helping hand maybe....most of us are feeling at a loss, shocked and saddened...totally helpless to say the least.  To start the tributes in honour of our dear friend, Bev, we are using Susie's lovely message to lead the way, it expresses exactly how most of us feel...the other equally beautiful and meaningful tributes will follow in alphabetical order....we the Moderators, Connie, Emily, Liz, Gradie and myself, MaryN, thank all of you  for your beautiful tributes of love and friendship, you are all the very best.

Please note that the midi playing is 'Born Free' which Bev has on her site, this obviously meant a lot to her in her philosophy of life, which is why we include it in her memorial pages.

For You...Beverly Page

Dearest Cafe-PSP Members,
I am so shocked and grief-stricken with this devastating news of Bev's passing. I read Em's email as soon as it was posted and have been sitting here, struggling through tears and thoughts, wanting to do, or say something,.. anything, that might be of help and comfort to someone, anyone, ..... me! Yet.. I feel so helpless, totally inept. I am a Registered Nurse and I work in Critical Care, mostly our Coronary Care Unit. I work closely to those whose lives hang in the balance, yet I cannot offer any healthy suggestions or words of comfort now. I can only find peace in knowing that she has gone home to be with our Lord. I will miss her dearly. Bev was best of the best and always took the time to send a kind word. She was an amazing woman.. which makes this seem even more unfair... :(( My prayers are with her and her loved ones who are left behind, as well as her friends who loved her here. She has touched us all with her kindness and compassion...

Lastly, before I close, I need to say to you all... that each and everyone of you hold a special place in my heart.
With great sadness, sympathy, and love..
Susie

Miss you Bev.....Susie.
My sincerest condolences to Bev's family and friends.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. She will be truly, truly missed. It's so very sad to have say goodbye to such a sweet, considerate lady.

I don't know what to say. It's terrible. Just couple of days ago she sent her pine cones. I've known her maybe almost two years from different groups and we've had cats connecting us besides PSP. It sure will be empty after her. Wish she had not died. I took a long peek to her website and it shows how she was so full of life and planning this and that. Everything just was taken from her.

I'm so afflicted by the sudden and sad loss of Bev. We loved her so much and sure will miss her.  My prayers are with her and I wish to extend my heartfelt and deepest sympathy to her family and friends.    Annick

One of the nicest benefits of being a member of a small group such as we have here at the Café is getting to know the other members. One of the saddest things about being a member of a small group is losing one of our friends. It is clear to me that Bev/Catluv was a friend to each of us and that she made each of us feel special with her little notes and exchanges. She herself was special and we will all miss her. It is with deep sadness that I, too, have to add my farewell message to Bev/Catluv. My thoughts and prayers are with her now, and also for her family. I know that she is now with all of her wonderful cats who have been waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge where all pets go to wait for their owners and friends. Now you are all healthy again and will be together always….Hugs,  Barbara

I shall miss Bev so very much, we shared a mutual love for cats and it was always a pleasure and delight to talk to her. My sympathies and condolences go to her family at this sad time.        Bea

I'm crying as I write this...Bev was a dear friend to us all and will be missed very, very much. It's so hard to believe when something like this happens to someone you have grown to know and love. My prayers are with Bev and her loved ones for their loss, as well as the Cafe for our loss. I have never before sent a graphic to the cafe that I didn't want to send, and it is with a heavy heart I send this one.   Sadly, Beckie.

Bev will be missed so much here at the Cafe.....may she rest in peace.....Bonnie

I  cannot  say  enough about  Bev.  I  have been in three groups with her over the past few years. She always had a smile on her face, never complained, and never had an unkind word to say about anything.  Bev was always ready to help anyone who needed it.... and went out of her way  to do so.  She was a wonderful lady who will be missed terribly in the graphics community.  May she rest in peace.  HUGS   Cathy

Like all of you, I was shocked to hear the sad news about Bev.  I didn't know her well, but I have enjoyed seeing her graphics and reading her comments.  God bless you, Bev!

I am so sorry to hear about Bev's passing.  She was a wonderful lady with a heart of gold.  I don't ever remember one time that she has never responded to anything I've sent to this group.  She was always very encouraging to whatever I've made, as have most of you have been. As much as we're all going to miss her presence in this group, I believe God needs her more as a new angel to go home and help celebrate Christ's Birthday and to watch over her loved ones. Her body is only temporary, but her spirit will live on forever. All my love and deepest sympathy, Cathy Knox

My prayers will be with Bev's family in these next few weeks.
she was a wonderful person and will be missed by those of us that never met her face to face, but counted her among our internet friends. hugs, char

I did not know her well but she was a sweet lady
who always had some thing nice to say about every
thing I did. Doneta

This was very sad news. Bev and I had been writing to each other on and off for quite a while, discussing various on-line schools, the confusion and adventure of learning HTML and various other topics. We influenced each other a little bit too. Because of her, I took some classes at WebTech. Because of me, she took some classes at LVS. It benefited us both.  She was always sweet and with a happy personality. She will be missed very much.  Elaina/aka *~Nightshadow~*

I am deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend Beth.  She was terribly sweet and always had a kind word to share.  Her kind, gentle spirit will be dearly missed.   My tears can not express the sorrow I feel for her family.  It's always doubly difficult to lose someone during the holidays... my heart and prayers are with them.    This tribute to Catluv was created from on of the tutes (lesson 2) at the featured ABZ site.  I can only hope that it would have brought a smile to her face.  Big hugs for everyone.... ~Elaine~ (MEE)

What a joy it was to have known Bev and shared not only our graphics, but our love for cats as well. My thoughts and prayers are with her family in this time of sorrow. She was a very special person with always a kind word and helping hand. What wonderful purrs must be heard at the Rainbow Bridge right now.  With love and prayers, Auntie Em.

Here is my tribute to my friend Bev...I will miss her terribly

Such sad news today........ Bev will be missed so much!
Thanks for the special page, I hope it brings
some comfort to her loved ones.  *hugs* Ginny

Bev not only was devoted to her family but also to the pets that she fostered, this was obvious by the contents and the way she decorated her website. Bearing this in mind, graphics from her site have been used as a basis to put together this page in honour of her friendship, dedication and hard work.  Her portrait from the members gallery, is the one she used to say 'this is me', so it is only fitting that we use it along with some of  her other work.....it is our way of saying 'we loved both you and your creations, Bev'.
